New Steam problem

OK so ...

ive re installed steam because i get a problem with the chat in game after so long ;syntax: comes up, this has randomly started happening, so every 1 to 2 mins this comes up, others that play on the same server do not see this .... so does anybody know what this is ????


2nd,

the stupid windows button is not working like before when in game1.6 you press it and it goes to desktop like before, after re install, this dont happen, its put the game in slow motion, so after googling it, alt+tab win+tab these work and you can get back to the desktop, but this is not how it was before the re install why.....

All I did was re install steam.

Fixed the windows button problem i switched too counterstrike beta, now when in game 1 press on windows button goes straight to desktop

Do you use the counter strike beta version ??

The syntax problem i still have.
